The objectives of the Research Committee on Sociology of Agriculture and
Food (RC40) include the promotion and encouragement of scientific analysis
of the social organization of agriculture and food systems, and the organisation
of the substantive content of the RC40 sessions of the quadrennial meetings
of the ISA World Congress of Sociology.
